“I’m a Trader” Rap

I wrote the lyrics to a tastytrade-themed rap meant to act as a fun interstitial on the network.

To the right is a pitch video I created to give marketing leadership a sense of my concept and to allow them to hear the way the song should sound. It was intended to be performed either by a POC woman, or myself if we included a self-aware epilogue with the acknowledgement that a white woman is performing a rap (making her the butt of the joke, rather than appropriating black culture).
